Aeroplan app terribly disappointing

When this app works, its very nice… But most of the time, it doesnt work.

Upon launch, and entering correct password, offers an unintelligible error message, saying that the app is unavailable...

But when abandon the iPhone app and I try to login online using a browser, Aeroplan website works fine.
